Project overview

This concept explores the information design of a SaaS dashboard used by small teams to track projects, workload and deadlines. It is a self-initiated design concept; the data shown is illustrative placeholder content.

The design challenge

Dashboards often try to show everything at once, making it hard to see what actually needs action.

Users switch between desktop and phone, so key information has to survive on a narrow screen.

Proposed solution

• A clear hierarchy: a short “needs attention” list first, summary indicators second, detailed charts third.
• Consistent card components with accessible color contrast and labels that do not rely on color alone.
• A collapsible navigation sidebar and a mobile layout that stacks cards by priority.

Outcomes

This is a design concept, so there are no client outcomes to report. It was created to explore the problem and demonstrate our approach.
